DJ Flex

I moved to Florida back in 2000, but I am originally from St.Maarten. The most common question I get after saying that is... "why would I leave the beautiful island of St. Maarten." I am still unable to answer that question :)

My love for music started at a very young age. Every Sunday my dad would blast his music in the house while he worked on his car. Of course, I looked up to my dad so I would be right next to him jamming out as well. Without even knowing it, that impacted my life tremendously. Fast forward to my teen years, I learned how to play the drums and started playing for my church. I've always had so much energy and I expressed that on the drums. I did that for many years, till I laid my eyes on a mixer at a nightclub. I was amazed at how you can take two songs and mix them on the same beat and tempo. Little did I know that I would be making dreams come true by mixing. I started DJing at college parties and events and then eventually got into doing weddings.

The beautiful thing about music is that it can bring people together without saying a word to one another. I've been to several weddings in my life and I know how a DJ can make or break a wedding. You can be professional and also party the night away like there is no closing time. All in all, with me, just know that your dance floor will be memorable.
