I spent my youth living NY and Florida. Thus, geographically I was influenced and learned to appreciate and love every music genre. My very first memories have all involved music. Growing up in a Dominican household it was always filled with music and dancing. I started playing instruments by fourth grade and never stopped. I played drums for my local church at the time and would make mixtapes and playlists for all of my family and friends. Since I bought my mixer I’ve never looked back, I first started DJ-ing at local bars now I DJ some of the biggest clubs in NY, Miami, to even Puerto Rico.

What I love about DJ-ing weddings is the opportunity to bring out that energy in the crowd, nothing like seeing family and friends celebrate with each other. I take pride in having a part in having people smile and dance. All the variety I bring will have all ages on the dance floor. Those moments last a lifetime. From our first conversation, their team was incredibly easy to communicate with, responding quickly and professionally to all of our questions. On the day of, the music and energy they brought was electric - the dance floor was packed all night long and the vibe was amazing. We booked the fusion package and our sax player (Luis Garcia) was worth every penny. DJ Sway kept the energy high and everyone had a blast. We also booked the photobooth through them and it was a hit with our guests. I highly recommend Curate to any couple looking for top-notch entertainment that will truly make their wedding day unforgettable. It was absolutely worth the splurge!
